The Creative Power of Sound

Scientists Hans Jenny and Masaru Emoto have shown by their experiments that different sounds produce different impressions on matter. Sound is the universal force of creation. Sound creates impression on matter; silence does not.

When God created the world, he spoke: “Let there be light.” He didn’t just meditate; he spoke. And instantaneously, the light of Spirit, which always was, is and ever shall be, was manifest as matter.

We have the authority of God, we who are his sons and daughters, to speak the Word. Through speech, we communicate and receive each other’s messages directly. If we sat in silence, we might get an awareness of one another’s thoughts, but we would not get the full power of the communication and the full transfer.

So spoken prayer can be more effective than meditation or silent prayer because of its ability to change matter. We’re in a matter universe. Matter is substance, and the wrong arrangement of substance, in a sense, is the real definition of all of our problems. So we want to rearrange substance—whether it’s a physical illness or an absence of money in our pocket or a lack of education, etc.
